Why a 3D site plan
A civil site plan is built for contractors. It's dense with dimensions, utilities and notes, and most people can't read it. A 3D site plan keeps the layout but drops the technical layers: lots, roads, sidewalks, trees, buildings and water, drawn from straight above with soft shadows that show height.
It's the image that goes in the sales brochure, the hearing slide and the lot map on the sales center wall. Buyers find their lot on it. Board members see where the open space is.
Styles
| Style | Looks like | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Photoreal top-down | Like a drone photo taken straight down | Sales maps and websites |
| Illustrative color plan | Soft, painterly colors and shadows | Hearings and brochures |
| Lot map | Clean colors with lot numbers and status | Sales centers that track sold lots |
Labels and lot numbers
We can add lot numbers, street names, amenity labels and a legend, or deliver a clean image you label yourself. For a lot map that changes as homes sell, we can deliver a version with editable layers so your team can update it.
What we need
- The site plan in DWG or DXF (or a clean PDF)
- Landscape plan or tree survey if you have one
- House or building footprints
- Any branding colors the plan should follow
Questions
Can you update the plan when the layout changes?
Yes. Because we build from your CAD file, a revised layout can be dropped in. A change of a few lots is a small revision; a new street pattern is closer to a new plan.
What size do you deliver?
Whatever you need, from a web image to a large print for a sales center wall. Tell us the largest size in the brief.
